Hello! We’re Jerry and Carrie Frawley, owners of Caring Transitions of Milford. We help seniors and families navigate life’s biggest changes with understanding and personalized support.
Our connection to this work is deeply personal. After losing both of our fathers within a short period and experiencing the challenges of dementia and Alzheimer’s within our family, we understand how quickly families can find themselves facing difficult decisions, complicated logistics and a lifetime of belongings. Those experiences ultimately led us to Caring Transitions and continue to shape how we care for every family we work with. We wanted to take what we learned through our own experiences and give back by helping other families navigate these moments with the support and guidance we wish we had.
Whether someone is moving to a smaller home or senior living community, preparing a home for sale, managing an estate or simply unsure where to begin, our team can help manage the entire process. From downsizing and space planning to packing, moving and resettling with our Day One Living approach, we help set up the new space so it feels like home from the very first day. When a home needs to be cleared, we can also help manage everything left behind through professionally managed estate sales, donations and cleanouts. Our goal is to provide families with one trusted resource rather than leaving them to coordinate multiple companies during an already overwhelming time.
We live in Shelton and are proud to own and operate a truly local business right here in our community, helping people throughout Milford, Orange, Shelton, Derby, Bridgeport and Stratford. We’re honored to have been recognized as Best of Milford’s Best Moving Company in both 2025 and 2026.
